Description |
Rhizome slender, long creeping; rhizome scales brown to black, narrow, cells thick walled. Fronds herbaceous, spaced, proliferous near the apex. Stipe blackish, 5-10 cm long with lanceolate scales at the extreme base only. Lamina 30 x 10 cm, pinnate, apex pinnatifid. Pinnae 5-7 pairs, oblong in outline, 2 x 4-5 cm, margin minutely toothed at apex, apex long tapering to a point, base contracted but in an adnate wing to the rhachis, veins simple. Sori thick and elongated, reaching the costa and the margin. |
